The Bannoura family, has been Carving Gifts for Christian Pilgrims visiting the Holy Land for Many Generations now, since before our Great-Great-Great Grand Father Bannoura.
- The Passion for Wood Carving Became Part of Our Family’s Heritage & Today We are Fortunate to Help Many Christians Artisans & Their Family’s Currently Living in the Holy Land.
Skills have been improved upon and passed down from father with each generation adding new stylistic ideas and new means to improve the crafting until we reached where we are now; masterly finesse.
Our Process on Most Pieces take around 5 years from Start to Finish, Trees are Grown around Bethlehem and only have selective limbs cut to ensure the best Grade A Olive Wood with Beautiful Grains.
We take very special care to make sure we have very minimum impact on possibly tree families which may be 2000+ years old, growing on the same hills where Jesus Christ performed his ministry.
