Sample Itinerary

(Day 1) - Departure

Depart the US from Salt Lake City Utah

(Day 2) - Arrival at Tel Aviv Airport and transfer to Hotel

Meet your guide at the Airport, Drive through the Coastal plains visit Caesarea Maritima and continue to your Hotel in Tiberias for dinner & Overnight.

(Day 3) - Golan Heights - Caesarea Philippi

We will start our day by a visit to Megiddo, and then drive to Golan Heights to visit Caesarea Philippi. Dinner & overnight in Tiberias

(Day 4) - Cana of Galilee Capernaum Mount of Beatitudes

Start our visit to the church of Annunciation & Cana of Galilee . Then drive towards the Sea of Galilee, visit Mount of Beatitudes, church of Multiplications of Fish & Loaves , Capernaum , River Jordan and Have a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee . Dinner & Overnight in Tiberias.

(Day 5) - Jerusalem - Temple Mount - Wailing Wall

Visit the Wailing Wall, Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock & Al Aqsa Mosque , then visit the church of St. Anne & pool of Bethesda , Via Dolarsa and Church of the Holy Sepulcher . Visit the Garden Tomb & have communion. Dinner at a Bedouin Tent restaurant and enjoy Dabkkeh, a Palestinian folklore music and dance, overnight in your hotel in Bethlehem.

(Day 6) Jerusalem - Holy City - Yad Vashem 

Visit the Israeli Museum Yad Vashem, the Shrine of the Book & the model of the city of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus. View the Knesset, the new city of Jerusalem. Visit Ein Karem where St. John was born. Dinner & overnight in Bethlehem.

(Day 7) - Mount of Olives - Gethsemane - Mount Zion 

Drive to the Mount of Olives, Walk the Palm Sunday Path, church of Gethsemane and the Kidron Valley . Visit the last Supper room, Mount Zion & City of David & Hezekiah's tunnel. Dinner & overninght in your hotel in Bethlehem.

(Day 8) - Jericho - Masada - Jordan River - Qumran

Full Day Tour in the Dead Sea Area We will visit Masada, Ein Gedi , Qumran and Swim in the Dead Sea . Dinner & Overnight in Bethlehem Drive to Jericho, view the Good Samaritan Inn, St. George in the Judean Wilderness, visit the old city of Jericho, Elisha Spring & view Mount Temptation Monastery. Drive the Jordan Valley dinner & Overnight in Bethlehem.

(Day 9) - Bethlehem - shepherds fields - Herodion 

Visit the shepherds fields, church of Nativity, old city of Bethlehem, Solomons Pools , the Herodion . Dinner & Overninght in Bethlehem. 

(Day 10) - Madaba - Machaerus JORDAN

This morning we will depart Israel for Jordan via the Allenby Bridge where we will meet our agent to assist us through security and customs. We will then travel to Mt. Nebo to view the Holy Land from where Moses stood (Deuteronomy 34:1), a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea to the Mt. of Olives and the roof tops of Jerusalem. We will continue to Bethany Beyond the Jordan where John the Baptist traditionally is thought to have baptized Jesus. We will then head to Madaba, the city of mosaics, to see the wonderfully vivid 6th century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land in the contemporary Greek Orthodox church of St. George. If time permits we will also survey the Machaerus, the ruins of Herod’s fortress where John the Baptist was beheaded. Afterwards, we will head south to Petra, the “Rose Red City” for dinner and overnight.

(Day 11) - Petra - Amman

After breakfast we will visit the site of Petra, a 2000 year old Nabatean (ancient Arab) city that was highlighted in the movie “Indian Jones and the Last Crusade”. We will walk through the narrow passageway (called the “Siq”) up to the Treasury, a massive royal tomb carved out of solid rock. If time permits, we will visit the traditional Tomb of Aaron (Moses’ brother), along with Little Petra before returning to Amman. Dinner and overnight will be in Amman.

(Day 12) Amman - Jerash - Allenby Bridge - Tel Aviv 

This morning we will travel north to the Zarqa River, the Biblical Jabbok river where Jacob wrestled with God. We will then explore Jerash, one of the world’s best preserved examples of a Roman provincial city thought to have a population of 20,000 people. It was one of the wealthiest cities of the Roman Empire. After lunch we will then head back to the Allenby Bridge and return to Israel. If time permits, we will visit Yad Hashmona, a Messianic Jewish community, before heading back to Jaffa for dinner. We will then transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our late evening flight home.

(Day 13) - Arrive 

We will arrive back in the USA the same day.
